APRIL 2022

Greetings, everyone!

I hope you and family are in the best of health. May the year 2022 brings happiness and good health to everyone.

I am so happy to share this wonderful news with all of you. A few weeks back, I received a surprise notification that I have over 500K viewers. I am so glad to know that many people visited my blog and like my sharing. I must take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continuing encouragement in my small hobby. I hope all of you have somewhat benefitted from my share recipes.

In this small sharing journey, it gives me immerse joy whenever I receive comments that many of you have enjoyed my recipes especially how pleased your families are eating new dishes. Most rewarding, perhaps is when some of you even shared the pictures of your cooking.

In my humble blog, I have shared some traditional as well classic dishes. My objective is to ensure these dishes are not forgotten. I wanted my children to learn all these special dishes so that they are not lost with time. These dishes are not only yummy, most importantly they bring back fond memories of our yesteryears enjoying them with our beloved parents and grandparents.

Keeping with time, I have created a couple of fusion and new dishes which I am extremely proud of. I wish for my children to learn all of them as it is proven to be very yummy. I hope you too will attempt these fusion recipes. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. I will endeavor to reply soonest.

Lastly but not the least, thanks once again for your great encouragement, I will definitely continue to innovate new dishes and share with all of you.

Please take care and enjoy cooking away. Stay safe.

Cheers,

Naina

My Favourite Mantra :

The Meaning of Life is to find your gift. The Purpose of Life is to give it away.

MAY 2021

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who visited my blog and especially my followers for your kind encouragement. When I started this blog last September 2020, it was solely to keep all my recipes in one place so that my family, relatives and friends can refer or access to them anytime, anyway. This still remains the sole objective of having this blog as it makes even greater sense now since the global pandemic as most of them are not staying in one country, and visiting to cook for my children is not an immediate possibility.

At this time of writing, I have posted 101 recipes on this blog. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love for food with those near and far. It has brought me immerse joy to share and try different recipes. It has nurtured and grown my love for food.

During this period, I have joined some food groups and started sharing my recipes. I was pleasantly surprised to know many people like my easy and simple cooking style. I am overjoyed by the continuous positive feedback especially how they enjoy some of the recipes very much. Those kind words and encouragement have made me rethink that this humble blog of mine is for Everyone. As in the mantra above, PERHAPS I have found my humble gift.

Through this journey, I have met a community of passionate cooks and also have learnt from their sharing as well. It has helped me to be innovative and creative in my cooking.

Once again, my sincere gratitude for visiting my blog and I hope to continue sharing more yummy dishes for everyone.

Wishing everyone to be safe in this pandemic, take care and God Bless!

Cheers

I didn’t choose the food life. The food life chose me…

SEPTEMBER 2020

My name is Naina, and I’m a self-professed glutton. From as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a big foodie. When I got married and had children, my love affair with cooking started. When my kids grew, so did my recipes. I started to cook to entertain, from small dinner parties to big buffets. As I travelled, my love for different cuisines expanded and I soon added them to my ever-growing list of recipes.

I now cook for the pleasure of it. I am truly a home cook – I believe a good meal does not have to be complicated . It just needs to be cooked with love.

I’ve started this blog mainly to collect all my recipes in one place so that my children and others can enjoy the same food I do. You will find that my cooking style is – simple, nutritious, and yummy. I will share my shortcuts, my favoured brands, and variations I have used with those dishes.

I look forward to hearing how you find my recipes, and hopefully learn a few tricks and recipes from you too!

Cheers,

Naina
